New Paragraph

After working, deer stalking on the Isle of Mull and competing in long range competitions together, James and Matt decided to use their combined knowledge and experience to start their own business that specialised in precision competition and stalking rifles.

James

James' roots are in the sporting shotgun world, as an experienced shooting instructor (APSI Qualified and Member). He instructs clients from a complete novice on clays up to experienced guns looking to improve their game shooting. A large portion of this work falls infield, standing with clients during game season and instructing on the peg.

James has always had a passion for the countryside and the sport that takes place within, including being a keen deer stalker for many years.

He entered the rifle trade and held a position at a rifle specialist in Somerset where he was involved with custom rifle builds and reloading courses. It was there that he joined the club and began shooting PRS style shooting, quickly picking up a few 1st and 2nd places in minor competitions.

Matt

Matt started out in the gun trade when he was 17, once he obtained his firearms certificate he purchased his first .308 for stalking and .243 for vermin control. He then ventured up to the highlands for his first stalking trip with his Father. As his career in the gun trade progressed he tried his hand at target shooting where he fell in love with all the aspects of being precise. After a few years of learning the art of reloading and many custom barrels Matt had become a competent long ranger shooter.

During his career Matt has taught over a hundred reloading courses, built multiple custom rifles (target & hunting), run rifle ballistic courses and worked with many firearms brands in the UK, USA and Europe.
